What personal information we collect from you

Email address: When signing up as a user on the Marple platform, your email address is collected as a way to uniquely identify your account. This may contain additional information such as your company and name.

IP address: We register and store the IP address of the network with which you connect to Marple.

Browser information: We register and store which browser you used and its version to connect with Marple.

When you signed up and when you last logged in.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as:

  • your name
  • email address,
  • phone number,
  • the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

We also register and store data related to how you are using Marple.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

  • Uniquely identify your account;
  • Understand and analyze how you use our platform;
  • Improve Marple’s features and products;
  • Communicate with you, mostly via email, directly or through our partners;
  • Find and prevent fraud or false accounts

At what servers does your data end up?

Marple

We rent server space from Amazon Web Services (https://aws.amazon.com/). We store:

  • User emails;
  • Data related to how a user uses Marple (for instance what features of our product are used and when).

Auth0

We make use of Auth0 to authenticate users that sign up for Marple (https://auth0.com/about). The following data is therefore shared with Auth0:

  • User emails;
  • User IP addresses;
  • When a user signed up and when a user last logged in.

Mailchimp

We make use of Mailchimp’s services to send you limited marketing emails (https://mailchimp.com/). The following data is therefore shared with Mailchimp:

  • User emails;
  • When a user signed up.

Slack

We keep a Slack channel in which the email addresses of newly signed up users appear (https://slack.com/) ). The following data is therefore shared with Slack:

  • User emails;

Gleap.io

Customer feedback is stored in Gleap.io. The following data is therefore shared with Gleap:

  • User emails;
  • User IP addresses;
  • User location;
  • The user feedback.

Auth0 uses cookies for authorization purposes. Without these cookies you cannot authenticate and hence not use our services. It is therefore not possible to disable these cookies.
